Just an easygoing guy that likes to keep fit, work hard and enjoy having a good chuckle, even at myself.
Enjoy meeting and talking to allsorts of people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Not on here to say I go to the gym 7 days a week and jog 200 miles just to warm up, can keep fit in many other different ways. Enjoy walking, at least 40/50 miles a week at various times .Also like to think that I am a good listener.
Reasonably well educated can converse at the boring levels of politics, religion, world affairs and business if required, but would rather laugh at the fun side of life.
I am divorced and have very happily moved on like many people on here, but I do not want to spend the whole date talking about previous relationships. We all have an axe to grind, but it only makes us bitter and twisted, and that’s no fun.
Sorry but we are all meant to be moving on and enjoying what time we have left.
Enjoy the buzz of Glasgow and especially Byres Rd area. Saying that I love to get out of town and enjoy the countryside and the shoreline in any weather conditions. Love long walks or a wee jog on the beach. Listen to allsorts of music, and live bands.
Also have an unhealthy passion for new clothes, like to keep trendy within reason. (Well woman are allowed to do it!!!!)
Try my very best to take care of my appearance, not vain, mirror man, or poser, just think its important to try. Women do it, so men should respect the effort they put in to be attractive. No George Clooney or Bratt Pitt I admit, if I was I would'nt be on here, would be on Match because I could afford it. But hey the patters good on here, real women not plastic, and straight to the point, ahh the GLESGA BANTER,ye canny wack it. And "Match" is full very very serious people who collect stamps and knitting patterns, don't date just tell each other the share prices and the bargains in ASDA.
Time for a wee moan now! Really have no time whatsoever for bigots and racists and demeaning jokes life’s to short, so get a life. We all came in the same way, and will leave the same way! Some people need to look in the mirror. Used to have the typical male West of Scotland attitude, hard to tell someone you love them, (Female and Male) hold hands in public etc. etc. Lost all that when I became a sports worker with people who had physical/learning difficulties, my God they new what being loved was all about, and gave it back in bundles.
Even doing man hugs now, my sons have got that look of amazement when we meet and their Dad grabs them. Think it comes with age, it must be cherished.Call me old fashioned, but I find it vitally important that people have good manners and respect. Its not hard to say please and thank you, holding a door open for a lady etc.
